"Moveable Feast" is a legendary book by Ernest Hemingway that recreates a vivid image of post-war Paris in the 1920s.
In 1956, the writer found a suitcase that he had left in the basement of the Ritz Hotel in Paris many years earlier. The suitcase contained a notebook with notes about his younger years and Parisian life. From those notes was born a book that was published after the author's death. The book immerses the reader in the unique atmosphere of cosy Parisian cafes, the noise of the streets and the silence of museums and art exhibitions, the noise and excitement of horse racing, the tastes and smells and the spirit of the unbridled creativity of one of the best American writers of the twentieth century.
