Lily lives in a lighthouse, she is the guardian of the aurora borealis. Her dad is often not at home because he explores the ocean. From his travels he always brings Lily a shell - she has a lot of them in her collection. One day daddy tells Lily about a lonely whale. Other whales do not hear his song, so he is doomed to swim alone.

Left alone again in the lighthouse, Lily suddenly hears singing coming from one of the shells. Is it really a whale? Maybe it is singing for Lily?
