Василь Стефаник - Твори (Оповiдi)

The leading theme of Stefanyk's novels from his collections "Blue Book" and "Stone Cross" is the proletarianization of the Galician village in the conditions of capitalist economy of Austria-Hungary.
Already in the first works of the writer the main features of his talent are revealed - lyricism and drama of the story, deep penetration into the psychology of the characters, the ability to show their emotional experiences.
The short story "The Road" is a poetic expression of the author's original comprehension of his creative path.
