V.G. Korolenko "Selected Works" (Повiсть)

The collection of selected works by the prominent writer Volodymyr Korolenko (1853-1921) translated into Ukrainian was published in 1949 under the editorship of writer Antin Khutorian. The publication includes the writer's best novels and short stories, whose characters - peasants and nobles, pilgrims and tramps, prisoners and their wardens - seek justice, overcome themselves, and try to survive in difficult conditions among people who are alien to them. A photo of Volodymyr Korolenko and an essay about his life and work are included.
