The collection is dedicated to the creators of the most essential food for everyone.  The reader will find here essays about the great masters of the bread field: breeders, agronomists, tractor drivers, combine harvesters, heads of collective and state farms, as well as workers, chemists, agricultural aviation pilots - about those who implement the decisions of the May (1982) and June (1983) Plenaries of the Central Committee of the CPSU and the CCCP Food Programme.
The book also contains some fictional works about rural workers, including stories, poems, and humour.
