If it wasn't for Felek, a simple clever boy, Matsyus would never have known that many of the children of his kingdom lived very poorly. To improve their lives, Maciej created a children's parliament. King Matsus, a reformer, decided to stop all wars, and this, of course, did not please other kings... The story "The Adventures of King Maciej" is one of the most important works of world literature of the twentieth century. The tragic death of Janusz Korczak himself became a symbol of the highest dedication to the ideals of humanity and dignity: together with the pupils of his orphanage, he went to the Nazi gas chamber, refusing the personal opportunity to avoid death.
