Михайло Грушевський "Як жив український народ"

Recently, the interest to the history of Ukraine, in particular to the works of M.S. Hrushevsky, a prominent scientist of world renown, who was branded by the ideologists of the totalitarian regime as a Ukrainian bourgeois nationalist, has increased significantly among the readers of Ukraine. In the former USSR, the works of academician M.S. Hrushevsky were banned. In the time of glasnost, his "History of Ukraine-Rus", "Illustrated History of Ukraine" are published in large editions, but do not satisfy the demand. The reprint reproduction of the little-known work of M.S. Hrushevsky "How the Ukrainian people lived. Brief History of Ukraine", written in the early twentieth century.

The book is easy to read, with great interest and, we hope, will serve both a wide range of readers and specialists in the history of Ukraine, Ukrainian language and literature.
